Stayed overnight and was very pleased with most areas of the stay. Particularly favorable was the well-stocked breakfast with good variety. Room was comfortable with easy monitoring of room temperature. Only minor complaints were I felt the bed was kind of lumpy, though my wife was very satisfied and the shower had hairs from a prior stay that should have been better cleaned. But would stay again if in the area.
Wasn't too busy, so had plenty of parking space for the 26' uhaul with car hauler. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was better than expected with eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy!
Nices, friendliest and most helpful staff. I have ever had of any hotel Really made us feel welcome. Everyone from the greeter at the door to the cleaning staff are top-notch. Thank you all for your hospitality.
So far, so we'll staying for 3 days. Checked in at 1030pm on Christmas night. Greeted with a friendly smile and cookies. Clean room no smells.
We stayed here one night to break up a long drive, and it was exactly what we needed — simple, clean, and secure. The room was tidy, the bed comfortable, and check-in was smooth. Nothing fancy or memorable, but everything worked as it should. If you’re just passing through and want a reliable place to rest without breaking the bank, this hotel does the job well. A solid, no-frills stopover for travelers. (And dog-friendly!)
The room was nice. Equipped with microwave and fridge. The TV was a bit small. The breakfast was good. However, mid shower I discovered the shampoo dispenser was completely empty.
My girlfriend and I were in Abingdon, VA to see a show at the Barter theater and decided to stay the night. I found the Country Inn and Suites not to far from downtown and right off the interstate. It got good reviews and was priced just right. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the woman at the front desk. We were there earlier then their check in time but they had a room available. The room was a good size and the beds were very comfortable and the the linens were nice and soft. The bathroom was well equipped with soft towels and nice amenities. The breakfast room was quite large and the selection was great. My girlfriend asked me if I saw any bananas. There were none but the woman working in the breakfast area brought us some. I would not hesitate to stay here again on our next trip to Abingdon.
Me and my family have been staying at Country Inn for years. They have always been kind and considerate towards us all. The rooms are clean, staff is quick to respond to any needs. The breakfast served is always good.
